I'd like to come to counselling but I'm worried about it?
It’s natural to be a bit nervous at first but hopefully you'll find it a really positive experience. Counselling can offer a safe space to express your innermost worries to someone without an agenda. It aims to help you deal with and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or making you feel uncomfortable. You will have the space and time to explore difficult feelings. Our work together will empower you to discover insights into understanding problems and help you to make positive changes.
I want to have therapy but it's so expensive?
I believe that well-being should be available to everyone so I offer counselling at an affordable price. This allows you to be able to continue therapy for a longer period; to really get to the core of the issue, give time to explore things thoroughly or just for a regular emotional check-up.
Many of life's problems are not a quick fix and can be a long road to recovery. For example; eating disorders, addictions, stress at work. It's reassuring to know that counselling can be at a reasonable rate so that you can take as long as you need.
I'd like to talk about personal matters; will I get the time and privacy I need?
Going to counselling on a high street or in an office can be a bit scary in case you bump into someone you know. Talking about things like depression and anxiety is delicate and you need to feel safe to open up. I am in a quiet little village where you are unlikely to see anyone. There's parking right outside so no worries about finding a space or paying the meter. Everyone is spaced out during the day so you'll never cross paths or be sat looking at each other in a waiting room.
Set in a gently landscaped garden studio you will be looking out onto a wildlife pond and enjoying the calming views of nature.
